ABOUT NAHOMIE
POET, AUTHOR, CURATOR, MARKETER & EDUCATOR
I am a first-generation Haitian-American and a native of Massachusetts' North Shore. My journey has been one of growth, faith, and passion, culminating in a Master's in Digital Marketing and Data Analytics from Emerson College and a Bachelor's in Psychology from Salem State University.
A DIGITAL MARKETER
As a freelance digital marketer, I have had the privilege of collaborating with various Black-Owned businesses, like Sàfo Hair, Black Market, and Worthy of Greatness helping them enhance their strategies, achieve their digital marketing goals, and expand their reach. My passion lies in supporting Black Owned businesses to increase their exposure and connect with their target audiences effectively.
POET & EDUCATOR
In addition to my work in digital marketing, I am deeply committed to serving my community through the arts. My love for spoken word poetry, which began during my undergraduate years, has evolved into performances across the Northeast U.S. and Canada. With over 15 years of experience in curating impactful events, working in various programs throughout the City of Cambridge, Andover BreadLoaf, Boston, and Lawerence. I consider myself a master storyteller. Whether crafting spoken word poetry for weddings, special events or showcases, my goal is to ignite inspiration and facilitate healing within our community—not just for myself as an artist but for every listener.
AUTHOR
Throughout my life, I have focused on creating safe spaces that empower individuals to share their stories of transparency through writing, poetry, and performance. This passion led to the recent release of my book, Pursuit of Joy: A Poetic Autobiography, where I chronicle the highs and lows of my life. My mission is to inspire women to embark on a journey of healing, self-love, and purpose.
My passion for service and artistry drives me to connect, uplift, and transform lives through the power of storytelling.
